What Causes Pink Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Pain?

My last period was 2/22-2/28.... I had some random brown/light pink spotting 3/15 on and off for about two wks... My tubes were tied 4yrs and 3months ago... I have had on and off sharp abdomen pains right below my belly button for a little over a month... Took a pregnancy test last wk and it was negative... Could i have a ectopic pregnancy?

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. You can also do a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound to see the uterus and ovaries. It can happen due to some thyroid disorder also. Ectopic is less likely if you are not having any pain or excessive bleeding. Ultrasound will rule it out. It can be due to some vaginal infection also. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
