Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After 4 days suffering from a stomach virus and severe vomiting I have developed a small bulge in my groin area. It is tender to touch and about the size of a grape. I am no longer sick. I tried to reach my doctor on Friday when I discovered the lump and his office said his staff had left for the day. Web research would indicate a hernia. Your thoughts
I really appreciate your concern, the most near possibility is lymph node and it less likely that it is the hernia still the clinical examination is the last judge, if this is the lymph node then no need to worry but for the hernia, surgery is the option there for cure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
