What Causes Persistent Tingling Sensation In Left Hand?

Hi. Wanted to know what it means to have 2 of the fingers on the left hand tingle from time to time. There has been no pressure on the hand but it s as if the fingers tingle or literally vibrate inside without any outside appearance of motion. Thanks

Hi,

You seem to have a nerve compression affecting supply to involved fingers. The compression could be at hand itself (carpel tunnel syndrome)/ at the ulnar notch near elbow and at neck level due to cervical rib or at cervical spine due to spondylosis. The exact site can be assessed by personal physical examination by an orthopedic surgeon, confirmed by MRI) CT scan as per need. Treatment would depend on specific cause.(medicines, physiotherapy or surgery as per need).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
