Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had an ear ache in my right ear off and on for a year. They have checked it no wax, no infection, no redness everything looks good. it throbs mostly in the morning when I wake up, dull ache off and on all day. Next day will be gone then back again.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent pain in the ear which is due to ear infection, otitis media and foreign body penetration in ear.
Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen as pain is there. You should put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. You should take proper rest. Visit Otolaryngologist once and get evaluated and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done and examination with otoscope. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile and try to avoid pricking it with any sharp object. Maintain hygiene of ear canal.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
