General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It might be advisable for you to have some basic tests done and this depending on your age and gender.
Having some liver tests to rule out teleangiectasias due to liver problems might be a good idea.
Also having a CBC to rule out increased hematocrit that happens with polycytemia vera, TSH to rule out thyroid problems and if you are a woman with irregular menstruation have a FSH test as well to make sure you are not entering menopause.
Other basic tests called the metabolic profile are done routinely as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
