What Causes Persistent Fever In An Infant Despite Using Tylenol?

My 23 mo got a fever sunday morning around 8 am when he woke up and the fever broke with Tylenol. He did greatt til later that evening around 730 pm he puked and had fever.. ( we also just finished a 2 hour drive and he ate cheeze its) . fever again broke with meds and he was great til this morning around 10 when he woke up with a fever again. Broke the fever again and he was great all day til after he was sleep for 3 hours tonight and he woke up and had a fever again.. I broke it with meds and will consult with dr tomorrow unless i should take him to er

Hello,

Give the proper dosage of paracetamol. This dosage should be repeated 8 hourly, and it may be repeated 6 hourly. Usually viral fever take time to subside. Increase water intake of child. Do not worry.
