Hello! Amoxicillin is known to cause drug rash. It seems your niece has developed a rash due to it. Rashes are also accompanied by a mild fever in case of a drug rash. She may need to stop Amoxicillin and a different antibiotic may need to be started based on her ear infection. Drug rash usually disappears on its own after a few days or she may need to take anti-allergic medications. However, if she has had a viral infection, she may have petechie due to low platelets especially if it is Dengue. Hope this helps.
