What Causes Periods Followed By Brown Vaginal Spotting?
I had Series of unprotected sex with My hubby and took 3 dose of fluconazole For 3 weeks,i had brown spot on My panties after a Late period, had sex with My husband and My period came the next day.i have never Experience this,so am kinda worried coz My period is kinda scanty now.plz help.thanks
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Getting brown vaginal discharge post infection could be due to cervical mucosal discharge and discharge of remnant mucosa after the periods are over. It is nothing much serious to be worried about. It should subside over the next couple of periods. It would be better to have a per speculum examination to rule out inflammation of cervix called 'cervicitis'. Kindly consult Gynecologist for the same. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
