What Causes Period Symptoms, Cramping And Discharge Despite A Normal PAP Examination?

My mother in law is having symptoms like if she was having her period, cramping and pink discharge but she is 59 and she has not had her period in the last five years, she is wondering if this could be her period coming back or should she be worried? She had her paps exam last month and they told her evrything was normal

Hi!
She should see a gynecologist to do a transvaginal scan to exclude endometrial cancer (cancer of inner layer of uterus)
Pap smear is normal in most cases of endometrial issues.
