What Causes Penis Swelling After Treating Paraphimosis?

I had my treatment for paraphimosis through a surgical process 10 days ago, although there is no pain but my penis is swollen since that day and I am having antibiotics prescribed by my doctor since 10 days and I am quite confused whether the swelling has reduced or not.I want ṭo ask how many days it generally takes or it has taken a long time already??

Hi,

Post-procedure swelling will be fine in 2 to 3 days. You are taking only antibiotics need to take a painkiller to reduce inflammation post surgery and anti-edema drugs. If the swelling persists need to meet the surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
