What Causes Pelvic Pressure At 30th Week Of Pregnancy?

Im 30 weeks pregnant and im having pressure down below. Ive tried to lay down, sit, even get on my knees and press back in to relieve it. It feels like I have to pee every second and its very uncomfortable. Also feels like I have to poop but nothing comes out. What is going on? BH? Baby breeched? Head down? Im so worried because its lasted for two hours.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no progressive abdominal pain, we need not worry as head engagement / onset of labor is unlikely. Breech also do not present with pelvic pressure. Try taking paracetamol tablets 3 times after food for 3 days. Drink plenty of fluids and have a diet rich in fibres to avoid constipation, that may worsen the symptoms. If no relief in 2 days, kindly consult your doctor as we will have to look for any causes like urine infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
