What Causes Paralysis From Waist Down?
My husband has suddenly become paralyzed from the waist down including his buttocks and his genitals. He is in the hospital right now. They have ran many tests on him, and all are normal. The are going to do a lumbar puncture on him tomorrow. what is wrong with him?

Your husband is now paraplegic it can be due to multiple reasons mostly from stroke, some problem in spinal cord, a disease named Gullian bare syndrome, or due to infection of nervous system. Lumber puncture is used to draw fluid from space in spinal cord and will be used to diagnose his disease
