What Causes Painful Pulled Groin Muscle During 37 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pregnant, and I feel like I pulled my groin muscle. It randomly hurts whenever I walk on my right inner thigh/ground area. I have to sit down, and hardly walk. Could this be a labor sign? Is this dangerous, or is it simply a pulled muscle, and should be treated the same as if I weren t pregnant?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you are near the term of pregnancy and this is common. The muscles stretch and thus cause the pain this is basically nature’s way to make you ready for delivery. This isn't the labour pain and you don’t need to worry about it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
