Hi, As per your complain ear popping along with severe pain on yawning and severe pain on blowing the nose is pointing towards Eustachian tube dysfunction or ETD. It is commonly seen after a bout of upper respiratory infection or cold, sinus infections and allergies that can cause blockage in the eustachian tube and cause severe pain, discomfort and hearing disturbances. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI, otoscopy etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly. You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Advil or Aleve, oral as well as nasal decongestants like Xylometazoline nasal sprays.Antihistamines like Levocetrizine can also be advised.
