I have used the first months worth of contraceptive pill (Rigevidon), and I started my period 5 days late, and yesterday when i started I was in the worst pain I have ever been on a period. Should I stop taking the pill? Or should I continue to take it before i go and see my doctor again?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, I would suggest taking the opinion of a specialist before you proceed with another cycle of the contraceptive. As hormone contraception can give rise to cysts in the ovary, such occurrences must be taken care of. You can get relief from the pain by using an antispasmodic. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
