What Causes Painful Blisters On Lower Lip Along With Swelling And Inflammation?

Yesterday afternoon I noticed my bottom lip began to tingle. As the afternoon went on I noticed three small blisters. Today my lip is swollen, painful, and burning. The blisters are on the middle of my lip and starting to turn a yellowish color. What could this be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sudden tingling of lips followed by bumps, tingling and burning seems to be due to allergic reaction to something and it seems to be most probably be due to any bug bite or insect bite that you did not notice..
Due to biting, the poisonous chemical that the organism injected under your skin caused a Hypersensitivity reaction leading to the following symptoms and also the yellowish appearance can be due to infection in the bite area.
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated..
He can advise you to take anti allergic medication like Allegra or Benadryl..
You can also be advised to do cool compresses over the lips..
Apply Steroid ointment over the bumps along with antibiotic ointment.
You can also undergo allergic tests to rule out the exact cause of the symptoms and get treated accordingly..
