What Causes Pain/pressure In Temple Of The Head?

Hi, I have a sharp pain in the right temple of my head. At first I thought it was a headache, so I took some tylenol, but it doesn t help at all. I have had this pain for 2 weeks now and it comes and goes. The right temple also pulsates when these headaches occur. What could be wrong?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
It seems from the history that you are having headache associated with pulsations of the temple.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Headache associated with pulsations are typically and characteristically seen in vascular headaches.
2. If you have symptoms of tiredness, joint pains or other systemic symptoms then it requires evaluation to find out the underlying cause and for confirmation of diagnosis.

Hence you need to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.

Any further queries, happy to help again.
