What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen Along With Nausea And Fatigue?

Dear Sir, It was discovered during upper abdomen pain, that Amylase level is fluctuating nearly 800- 1000 unit since last three months. For further diagnosis, US, CT, MRI was conducted and as per treating doctor all reports are normal. Since the Amylase level is the same nearly 800 unit, Doctor is suggesting to undergo ERCP. Kindly advise me how to know the cause and how to control the Amylase level Age-42. Know hypertension case, consuming one tab of nebicard- sm every morning . Amylase -800 unit. Lipase- 245 unit. Minor abdomen pain, Nausea, weakness

Hello,

High amylase level indicates conditions like pancreatitis probably due to gallstones.

ERCP is required to visualise the bile tract and to look for any stones.
