What Causes Pain In The Testicles?

Saw my urologist yesterday. My right testicle was very sore.. Said it was infected. He gave me Ciprofloxacn500 mg 2x a day for 14 days. Today the pain is going from the testicle up toward my right side. As early as two weeks ago I had also passed some kidney stones. Help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your pain could be due to epididmytis, orchitis, stone pain.
I would suggest to consult urologist and undergo USG scan to confirm cause.
You ask doctor for pain medicine like
HIFENAC TA, ZERODOL that contain paracetamol, ibuprofen and tramdol for short time.
Continue ciprofloxacin as it cure infection.
Wear scrotum supported devises
Avoid exertion
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
