This pain has increased in frequency to daily. I find myself favoring not moving my right arm,I have also added heat and I sit down several times a day and apply heat to my neck and arm. I elivate my legs until the numb dissapears. What is wrong with me?
Your symptoms most likely due to nerve compression in cervical region/cervical spondylitis. I would suggest to consult orthopedics surgeon and undergo x ray neck and MRI for confirmation. Following treatment will help you:
- Tablet Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside, two times a day after meal, Tablet Pregabalin once a day at the bed time, Tablet Ranitidine twice daily before meal
- Tablet Methylcobalamin once daily. Application of Diclofenac (Volini) gel twice daily, warm pad application, wear soft cervical collar specially neck exercise according to physiotherapist will helpful
Do not keep your neck in same position for long time.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
