What Causes Pain In The Legs After A Bowel Movement?
My question is there has been times when I have a bowel movement and once I am finished and walk out of the bathroom I tend to get these flu-like symptoms painful legs panes it starts from the waist down to my feet there s times and it lasted 15 minutes long as I ve had these is two hours which are totally painful I could barely walk

Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. You seem to have nerve compression at lumbosachral spine(spinal or disc problem)...the exertion &probably straining & raised abdominal pressure... due to motion also irritates rhe nerve suplying lower extremity... causing the pain. * Please consult a spinal surgeon .. for confirming the site of of problem followed by specific treatment. (Anti inflammatory medicines/steroid injection /physiotherapy or in some cases surgery.) * Till then take rest. Avoid bending down & straing for motion. Hot /cold packs,rest &over the counter pain medicine (Nimesulide- paracetamol) would relieve acute pain. Thanks
