I got s shingles vaccine in July 2016. With in a few days, I noticed that my arm was extremely sore and my range of motion was inhibited. My dr says not from the vaccine. Still having trouble with the arm which now includes tingling in my hand. Any thoughts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
One of the side effects of the shingles vaccine, which occur in at least 1 in 10 people is redness, pain, swelling, itching, warmth and bruising at the injection site.
Some advices that I can give to you are
-use pain relievers such as ibuprofen
-use ice to reduce swelling
-don't force the arm with exercise
If the pain continue see a doctor
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
