What Causes Pain In The Groin Area On The Right Side?

Hello, I am 61 yr old female. 5 2 , 125lbs. I am in OK fitness shape for my age. I play pickleball 2 - 3 days a week, and do a lot of walking. I have acute very bad pain in my Rt groin that only last a few seconds, Then goes away and there is no pain until it reoccur maybe an hour or 24 hours later. There is no budget like an hernia. Do you think this could be a sports hernia or something else? I am very active with Pickleball and I have only been playing for approximately 4 months. Thank you,

hello there.
As per your description ,you seems to be very active in sports. At the age of 60 it is possible that your muscles are not that strong and it can be associated with hernia but not always. It can be reducible in nature that is why you are not seeing it.only when intraabdominal pressure rises you can feel a little discomfort or pain.
look for other signs like fever and nature of pain.
Thank you.
