What Causes Pain In The Feet While Suffering From Central Canal Stenosis?

I have been diagnosed with L4-5 diffuse disc bulge with mild central canal stenosis. So far have been only getting steroid shots (2 times) . My feet hurt with nerve pain also. Could my nerve in my back pinching also cause my foot pain? It is in both feet and feels like nerves. I have been checked for diabetes and I know I don t have that. I also want to know if this is operable or will I have to continue getting shots the rest of my life. She said it was arthritic also ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in the feet can be:
@ Peripheral neuropathy of diabetes
@ Neuropathy from spinal cord nerve roots compression.

I would like to have a look towards your MRI plates, recent Hb1Ac reports and list of currently consumed drugs to focus further in this topic.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
