What Causes Pain In The Elbow And Shoulder Joints Of The Left Arm?

experiencing internal pain in my left upper arm between elbow and shoulder. The pain feels purely internal and not skeletal. Has been there 4-6 months and does not always affect arm use or movement. However, sometimes severely affects any arm movement. There is not continual severe pain attached to the symptons, just omnipresent noticeable pain.

Your pain could be cause by medical conditions like:
-Reteated stress/strain since pain is intermittent
-Elbow and shoulder osteoarthritis
-Cervical nevralgia
No matter the cause, the principle of treatment of such pain remains the same.Treatment options may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on pain intensity, myorelaxants, steroids ocassionally, physiotherapy.Some of these options may be used together for better results.I will advise you try the following:
*Take a pain drug like aceclofenac during acute attacks
*A myorelaxant like miorel
*Heat/cold therapy when intense
*You may hire a physiotherapist for massage
If symptoms persist, you see your Doctor for investigation and other treatment options.
