What Causes Pain In Lower Left Lung While Coughing And Sleeping?
My lower left lung hurts everytime i cough, and sometimes when i lay on my back. It hurts but also feels like i am winded, and I cant draw a full breath. Normally it is fine, but when I cough I really notice it. However, I just yawned and i got a shortness of breath in my left lung again. I am a smoker.

Hello,
You must be having severe Bronchitis more on left side.
May be due to Smoking.
Better take X-ray chest PA view and do CBC/ESR.
