What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen And Above The Waist?
well, i have been feeling pain in my lower abdomen section for an hour or so and just started feeling pain a little above my waist on my back. i had to pee but was scared that it might burn after some events earlier. i fell asleep and when i woke up i the pain started coming, i peed and there was no blood and nothing burned but i don't know what to do about the pain
Hi! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
Even though your abdomen needs to be examined before coming to a diagnosis, from your history it seems that you have got either a UTI (urinary tract infection) or a calculi in the urinary tract obstructing the free flow of your urine. To rule out either of these, you might have to go for a urine routine/microscopic/culture sensitivity test, and an ultrasound of the abdomen. Till then, you might go for plenty of liquids orally, and an anti spasmodic drug if need be during the pain.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
