Hi,

It is too early to say anything about the healing process as everyone heals differently. You need to check back with the concerned doctor for the status of the spine post surgery. The nerve compression might be released but the healing will take time. Lower limb exercises like bending your leg from hip and knee and straighten it,taking your leg outwards and inward sand walking will help you in relieving symptoms like tingling and numbness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jenis Bhalavat
