My husband has pain in his back left side near the tip of his ribs. When he golfs it gets really bad. He donated a kidney six years ago and now has a hernia on his left side. He had it repaired, but it is back. I don't know if the pain is related. One doctor said it was rib pain caused from the surgery and another said it was a hardened muscle caused from scar tissue. I think they are both wrong. What do you think?
