What Causes Pain Between Shoulders, Elbow And Spasms When The Arm Is Turned Outwards?

pain between shoulder and elbow. skin on top of arm is warm to touch. Difficult to raise arm away from body and upward. can't raise arm to even brush hair, but can use other hand to help/assit to raise arm. Once up the arm is ok. Also get spasms when I turn the arm outward. similar to Charlie horse you'd get in your leg.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for the query.
With this presentation, I think it is an inflammation of the soft tissues which may involve subcutaneous tissues or muscle. I would suggest you take an anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen to relieve the pain and consult a family doctor for proper assessment.

Hope this answers your query.
I wish you good health
