General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis from drinking carbonated drink. Taking antacids will be helpful to get relief. You can also take over the counter proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole (Nexium ). Avoid spicy, fried foods, junks, carbonated drinks and alcohol. If there is no improvement then consult your GP.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
