What Causes Pain Below The Ribcage And Profuse Sweating?

My husband complained of pain upper intestine i think center between ribs. He has had a heart attack and stent. he said he was sweating. he took an asprin and later a tums which felt like it was subsiding. he layed down and before we knew he was on his way to bathroom and vomited. he said it was everything he at since this morning.

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Your husband with past history of heart attack &stent... ddefinately needs a cardiac check up.with the sign of sweating.
But his recent symptoms suggest gastroenteritis.. might be aggravated by aspirin pill probably on an empty stomach.
To relieve it he needs tab Ranitidin&gelusil pills over the counter.sips of cold milk /bland ,nonspicy food .
