Hello,
From history, it appears that you might have a nerve impingement in the cervical region and that is the reason the pain is travelling from the neck to the hand and so does the
tingling sensation.
As
nerve root having compression anywhere in its course from the
spinal cord may lead to either motor and sensory troubles.
I will advice you to undergo a orthopedist clinical examination and an MRI of the
cervical spine if the pain is unbearable. If it's bearable I will advice you to take a hot water fermentation and neck collar.
But MRI is for sure you need to take so can get a clear picture of the
soft tissue injuries and the level of compression.
In my clinical practice of 12 years, most patients with these symptoms are diagnosed with nerve entrapment.
Therapeutic part includes - neck collar, hot water fermentation, rest , exercise. They respond well so will you; I have faith.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
