What Causes Pain And Numbness In Leg Post Self Injury To The Toe?

hi I banged my little toe very hard and cased a blood blister. Then at work near the end of the day, I had a shocking pain and numbness in my same leg as the toe, in the calf of the leg and , know it feels like a small balloon in the calf and it hearts to walk on it should I worry I m 47 in good health and about five eight and one seventy

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain and numbness in leg post self injury to the toe . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like soft tissue injury , hematoma , nerve injury or compression . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with nerve conduction test . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory along with nerve supplement and recommend physical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe nerve damage . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for nerve dysfunction .
