Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The numbness in the left side could be related to possible epilepsy seizures or a low blood flow to the brain. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and an EEG or brain MRI.

Regarding the shortness of breath during walking, it is necessary performing a cardiac ultrasound in order to investigate for possible heart failure and some blood lab tests (complete blood count for anemia, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests). The joint pain, could be related to chronic degeneration. Consulting with an orthopedist and performing a knee X-ray study is necessary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
