What Causes Numbness In Leg While Taking Galvus Met 50mg?

I have been taking galvus met 50/500mg from the past 3 months for my diabetes 2 type. I take this twice in a day,once in the morning nd once in the evening before food. Of course the bolld sugar is under control, but I get numbness in one of my leg. Is it due to some side effect? Please let me know about it

I don't think it is due to side effect of Galvus met . Most likely there has been some damage to the nerves of your leg .

Nerve damage ( Neuropathy ) is a very common complication in Diabetes. For confirmation of diagnosis you need to get a test called Nerve Conduction study of the leg .

Once it is confirmed there are certain medicines which shall help in controlling the nerve damage and help in rejuvenating the nerves.

Till then continue your Galvus Met .
