Hi Doctor, i have developed this syndrome a week back. I have numbness on top of left foot. No pain, no tinkling feeling. And only on top of my foot (middle part). Can you please let me know possible issues.. I have been exercising recently. Stomach crunching etc.. I am taking medicines for mild high BP and my sugar levels are in border line. I do check sugar levels at home regularly and now its under control. I take Amlong 5mg & Telma 40 everyday for BP and Metformin every day. Thanks Regards Manoj
Your symptoms could be related to tarsal tunnel syndrome (a pinched nerve). For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist and performing nerve conduction tests.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
