What Causes Numbness In Feet And Toes And Loss Of Flexibility With Injured Back?

42 year old male injured low back in service 20 years ago, have had 2 laminectomies 1 IDET and another procedure to burn holes in scar tissue aroundlower spine roughly 8 times, as well as all the physical and occupational therapy that goes with it. Have gone through muscle, nerve damage tests in which do too injurey and now scar tissue is showing increased damage to nerves and deterioration to muscle and tendons. I have been fighting with doctors since this has happend to continue working including changing proffesions. Once it was determind that after the surgeries the scar tissue was at falt was run through the normal trial and error of medications to reduce episodes of imflamation of the scar tissue putting pressure on the nerves. This treatment went on for about 10 years until the episode frequency was at around 2 months. At time was told by Spine specialist that only treatment would be fusion and morphine pump. Persional doctor decided to treat nerves instead, startyed using neroten ( which took out my gall bladder) and now on Lyraca 75mg a day has been inreased to 375 mg a day as well as 1000 mg vicden as needed has been replaced with fentonal 25 patch. This seemed to work better as I would still have 1 episode a year, until 3 years ago as frequency shortend to 2 times a year and then 3 times a year until currently which it has not stopped for 6 months. I understood that I would never be pain free but as I explained to my doctors as long as I could sleep through the night I would deal with the pain during the day. Past 6 months; MRI spinal area L4, L5, S1 looks good small herniation at L4 but nothing serious. Pain Specialist epidoral injections, tried nerve blocks unsuccessfuil, spine specialist recommends again morphine pump as scar tissue has developed in S1 from IDET procedure as well as subseqent procedure of punching holes in scar tissue, and is agrivated by walking motions. So here are my symptoms to date. CONSTANT: Feels like someone has hit my tail bone with a steel pipe, any movement and it feels like a hot nail is scraping the inside of my skin, pain goes from butt to calves with extreme tightness in ham string, this is mainly in the right side but as the day progresses moves into left. SLEEPING: see constant as well as Leg spasms with the feeling of bees stinging shins and calves on both legsalso if in regular bed wake up with numbness in feet and toes, do to pain usally only sleep when exhaustion over takes pain so I get 6 to 8 hours every 3 to 4 days. STANDING: see constant, feeling of steel pipe rammed into back, feet, legs, toes go numb in about 10 to 15 minuets. WALKING: See constant, alternating push rod feeling with twinges of pain at each step going from lower back into feet, numbness starts within 10 to 15 minuets, Pain increases the mor I am up and moving. SITTING: loss of flexibility has me plopping into seated position it takes a few minuets for scar tissue to adjust, heated porcipine feeling in low back with numbness in but in about 5 minuets. Standing after takes a few minuets as it takes a bit of mvement to straighten up as well as pain. Tend to sit in rocking recliner as easier . Personal: 42 years old was a little over 6 ft 180 lbs at 21 I am now 5 10 3/4 182 lbs, except for back I am in excellent health, before this episode worked out 5 days a week, weights, cardio, pilots, now only do exercises that have been perscribed. Any suggestions as my Doctors are at a lose of what to do?
