What Causes Numbness And Coldness In The Extremities While Having CADASIL Syndrome?

I have a rare disease called CADASIL, you may not have heard of it, most doctors haven t. Cerebral Autosomal-Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy. This feeling of coldness and slight numbness is new to me, however it seems to have started after I had a bout of food poisoning which resulted in me being in hospital overnight and being intravenously hydrated.

You are right CADASIL is quite uncommon, but your these symptoms looks unlikey to be related to that. More importantly these symptoms may be caused by the food poising.

Germs in body can cause fever, chills and all these symptoms. You should watch these carefully. I hope it would be fine soon, otherwise you may see your doctor. The intravenous fluids may also cause cold feeling sometimes.
