Suggest Treatment For Intense Headache, Neck Pain And CADASIL Syndrome

My husband has CADASIL (a stroke disorder) and frequent headaches. For the past few days he has been having intense headaches and pain on one side of his neck. The pain gets very intense whenever he bends over. He has also noticed a weight gain of about 4 pounds over the last two days. Any idea what could be causing this?
