hi. I m 23 yr old and i m diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Im on medication, namely carbimazole. However, since i started using the medication, my nose has not stop bleeding very frequently. Today, my right nose bled again but way worse. After pinching it for awhile to stop the bleeding like i always do, this time fresh blood came gush out of my nose and was splattered all over my hand and legs. Due to my roommates consistent need pf air conditioning, ive been sleeping in ac room. Due to my work nature, i m also stuck in ac room for the whole day. The internal condition of my nose is either runny or super dry while forming booger looking blood clot that will block my breath. Making me difficult to breath, i had to dig some out, and most of the time when i do, it will bleed again... And the cycle continues. Please advise me, are all of the above the cause of such symptom? Ive been having this for 5 months, and it just got worsened. How should I solve this? My mum suggested me to wash my nose by pumping salt water into my nose, will it help or worsen my condition?
