What Causes Nose Bleed And Numbness In Cheek Post Injury?

I fell on my cheeks while snowboarding . It has been 4 days and I am still blowing blood though my nose. I also have a numbness on my cheek and getting a headache. I also have a double vision when I wake up in the am. Should I be worried since I still have blood everytime I blow my nose?

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern

1. Maxilllofacial injuries [common with sports] can involve the skin as well as soft tissues and can be complex needing multi specialty involvement in their management.

2. Since there are symptoms [numbness-headache-double vision] thus check with an Eye & ENT Physician for Examination and Investigations like: X-ray and CT scan of relevant structures.

3. Management will depend upon injury/fracture site

4. One should check with a Specialist to prevent long term complication like: cosmetic problem [scars and facial deformity], any nerve damage, non-union/malunion of fracture, sinusitis
