What Causes Nausea Upon Intake Of Food In A Kidney Patient?
I have a 76 year old mother in law that I have been staying with to get her back to good health. She was diagnosed with acute kidney trama after having surgery on her colon to remove a poylic. She started vomiting two days after the surgery and could not stop until the dr at the emergency room gave her nausea meds. so they diagnosed her with acute kidney trama from the surgery. So my question is every time she eats anything she has to lye down and she feels like she is going to vomit.
As per your history is concerned it is a case of [Rhabdomyolysis] which happens after injury. So please follow my advise and do following investigations:

Hi, As per your history is concerned it is a case of [Rhabdomyolysis] which happens after injury. So please follow my advise and do following investigations: 1) Complete blood count (CBC) 2) Serum chemistries, including blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, glucose, calcium, potassium, phosphate, uric acid, and liver function tests, Prothrombin time (PT) 3) Activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) – Thromboplastin released from injured myocytes can cause disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) 4) Serum aldolase, Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) & Creatine kinase (CK) 5) ECG Tell local doctors to manage as per report, I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best. Thanks, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
