What Causes Nausea And Stomach Discomfort?

My fiance has recently had a lot of stomach issues, he experiences extreme nausea and stomach discomfort and vomits multiple times usually just bright yellow which we've discovered is bile. But we've tried pepto bismol and over the counter nausea meds to help and they usually dont help, he usually just feels "ok" in the morning after sleeping? I'm worried it may be something more severe because hes only had this happen within the last year. What should we do?

Hi,
I have gone through your query & understood your concern
The symptoms your friend has can arise from multiple causes arising of digestion
Like gastritis,acidity,peptic ulcer/viral infection of stomach/infections of gastero intestinal tract itself/liver problems/ psychological stress.
Stomach upset & nausea of 1 year duration need investigations to pin point the cause followed by treatment.
Usually a bland easy to digest food with sufficient fibers is advised to such patients.The food you are sensitive has to be avoided( Lactose,fructose, fat )
Digestive enzyme supplements help.
Please consult a gastroenterologist for guidance.
