What Causes Nausea And Muscle Pain While Taking Amoxycillin?

Hello, How are you? I was prescribed 1500 mg of amoxicillan last saturday for a throat infection (possible strep) and have been taking it on schedule. However, I have experienced nausea pretty much continuously since I started. I now have a strange muscle pain in my left leg. Almost a numbness but not quite. Should I continue the medicine?

Hello
For possible throat infection your doctor advised you "amoxicillin" 1500 mg . You developed nausea, strange muscle pain and numbness after the use of amoxicillin.
Side effects of amoxicillin are:
Hyperactivity , insomnia, NAUSEA , NEUROMUSCULAR HYPERSENSITIVITY, HYPERSENSITIVITY VASCULITIS , dizziness, vomiting, etc .
In your case these symptoms may be due to side effects of amoxicillin.
So consult your treating doctor and get his opinion , till stop the drug.
