What Causes Nausea And Hot Flashes While Suffering From Ulcerative Colitis?

My children are mostly over a gastro bug. I suffer from ulcerative colitis & are having a mild flare up but today I ve also been feeling constantly nauseous & now getting the occasional hot flus. I thought I was coming down with their bug but haven t vomitted yet. What is likely to be causing these symptoms?
