What Causes Nausea And Blood In Sputum?

I am 43 years I weigh 215 pounds, female. I have been having bouts of nausea since the end of June. Some spit when I am nauseated has blood in it very thin and pinkish. The nausea has reduced but I feel some discomfort under my stomach. I also realize that every now and then I see brown specks in my urine. I have done urine, and blood samples and nothing unusual has been found. No pregnancy detected as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might have a gastric ulcer or some gastric lesion that can cause nausea and blood in vomit.

If you have blood in sputum than oral lesion or respiratory cause might be responsible.

I suggest you consult nearby physician or gastroenterologist for detailed evaluation and endoscopy.

Kindly investigate with coagulation test as well like PT, APTT.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
