What Causes Nausea And Appetite Loss Along With Weight Gain?

I’ve been really nauseous lately and had loss of appetite I’m not pregnant. I’ll take one bite and I’m full or disgusted. I’ve gained weight these past couple of months so I would get really hungry but all of a sudden I don’t feel like eating. I don’t know if this is important but I used to be anemic. I also had these symptoms 3 years ago

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Gaining weight could be due to high calorie diet, functional disorders and genetic constitutions these are the main cause of weight gain, loos of appetite could be due to some disease, like infections, chronic illness, malignant condition, functional disorders, here in your case it seems to be functional disorders and it may not be the illness so try to come out this condition, if you have not rule out the possibility of infection then I would suggest to get the basic or routine tests (Routine blood test, urine tests liver function test ).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
