General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Duphaston is a synthetic form of hormone progesterone. It has been administered for you as you had history of miscarriages previously.
It helps to maintain and progress of pregnancy and prevents miscarriage.
You might be experiencing nausea due to pregnancy itself as nausea is one of the symptoms associated with 1st trimester of pregnancy.
To overcome acidity and nauseous feeling, you can take liquid antacids and then take the medication as prescribed.
It is important in your case to take the medication.
Kindly do the necessary follow-up.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
