What Causes Nausea After Smoking?

Hi I ve been smoking for about 5 years now and suddenly I ve been getting nauseous after smoking and when I smell the cigarette from another smoking around me.. I was just hoping to find out what exactly is happening? Is my body just telling me to quit or is this something else. I m a 21 yr old female
